    Without reading into too much detail, am I to understand that the proposal, if passed, would limit beers such as coffee beers to still stay under 12%? Not sure what they mean by beer with stimulants such as caffeine added. If so, that would certainly suck, but I guess you take what you can get.

    I certainly hope that the ABV cap is eliminated. I'd like to not miss out on releases because our state has a stupid law in place. Sure, let's give people the choice to buy 20% spirits or 14+% abv wine for 5 bucks, but a 14% beer? Nope, only alcoholics will drink that. *smh*

    I am guessing that it is directed at this ^ Loko stuff. No 12% + Monster or Red Bull in this plan it appears. I would say it only applies to drinks that caffeine is specifically added to, not a natural occuring state like coffee.

    Raising the ABV cap to 15% is just an attempt to placate us plebs! The politicians hope to get us off their backs while still playing ball with the corporate conglomerates pouring money into their campaigns and pet projects. I'm tired of these jokers telling me what's safe for me. Sorry, Ohio Congress, but...
    NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

    Lots of people are missing the point. The big story here is that Keith Faber, the president of the Senate and someone who can actually get shit done is considering amending the bill to remove the cap entirely. If he's on-board, it will get passed, as opposed to previous efforts by Ramos, a democrat who is pretty much universally despised.

    Aside from those food/bottle shops that are not that easy to come by, how can I buy singles or single four or six packs in PA? When did it change?

    Was just there and could not find a bottle shop or store that didn't sell cases near my hotel. I'm not there often, I admit, so if it changed recently I don't know. What is the deal?

    Most grocery stores; Giant Eagles, Whole Foods, Wegmans, etc. Changed a few years ago.
