    Toppling Goliath taproom in Decorah. That's Mornin' Delight on the left (no explanation needed) and Scorpius Morchella on the right, a hugely juicy DIPA. Truly astounding.

    Ok, another American Pilsner, well, I keep trying. Pours golden as expected, floral hop aroma seems correct as well, so far so good.

    Body, malt, crisp hoppiness, it's all there just not quite as first water as I'd hoped. Nothing wrong (and this is a style where brewing errors stand out) just not enough for a Eureka, look Ethel they nailed it moment.

    With Pilsners my general rule is buy the one that's freshest and using that criteria would buy this again.

    Oh, yum yum! The first bottle I had was heavy on the vanilla. This one is more balanced: chocolate, coffee, a hint of cinnamon and vanilla. Outstanding.
