I got 'stuck' trying to be a nice guy and buying more to cover a fellow beer geek only to learn his store called and hooked him up. Taking one, I mean six for the team!

 

Well, after yesterday's stormy rainy weather it's windy and sunny today!
A friend from where I used to work is down here on vacation so gonna hook up with him tomorrow for lunch and a couple of beers!
BONUS! Pops is flying down to stay with us again on May 21st!

This has got to be one of the best shelf stouts I can find in these parts:

 

Deschutes is great, but spend some time in the NW Forum "visiting Portland" thread. Most all of the gems are revealed there.

And as another said, go up in the Columbia River Gorge up to Hood River. Double Mountain, pFriem, and Logsdon taproom await. only takes 45 minutes to drive

 

First from the second and final case.



This is the last tour I saw ELP live (Charlotte, NC) of the 4 or 5 times that I saw them perform. The 50 piece orchestra had been dropped from the tour since the gate couldn't support it. The orchestra's efforts were played back on the sound board so the auditory effect was there, but...

 

I totally agree. The nearby Jewel has it on sale for $9.99. I couldn't resist buying a couple!

had a nice day off today. large coffee and breakfast burrito from Wawa. Picked up some wine for mother's day, got some Cape of Good Hope from Yards, and Evan Williams single barrel 2007.
