last i talked, it was originally bumped back due to canning company's strange work schedule and was looking like the 20th.

Bottles coming up shortly as well.

I thought it was mentioned that Saison 100 was going to be the next bottle release; which would be awesome since that beer is so good.

that's still in the barrels. Saison 100 and Athletic Susan coming down the pipe line. Then the Parking Lot Monkish collab was also recently bottled. Sooooo. there's that.

collabed on a beer. put it in barrels. kept some barrels at monkish parking lot and some at HPB parking lot to see what the difference in area did to the beer.

The barrel in the HPB lot gained more street cred...

I believe this is released at the end of the year. GJG was outstanding and I wished I bought more.

    thanks (and j-loc)

for the non brewing expert, i'm curious about these barrels in parking lots. do they actually let them age outside in the sun like that? i thought barrels needed to be in a relatively more stable environment temp wise. i'm sure one of you will have the answer though. thanks in advance

[edit] or are the barrel i see in the hpb parking lot just extras or something?

Those should be empty. I'd be shocked if they barrels aren't temp-controlled. But I also don't brew or expert anything!

Monkish also has 3 Brewery Cat employees. I forget their names.

They actually remain pretty stable surprisingly, They've done temperature readings while in the 100 degree parking lot heat and when it's been cooler and inside the actual barrel there wasn't a ton of fluctuation, forget the exact details/numbers, but surprisingly low.

Saison 100 - 100 batches of beer!! Holy cow it’s gone by fast. To celebrate this occasion we made a barrel fermented saison (surprise, surprise). Fairly simple base beers fermented in French oak puncheons with our house mixed culture (lots of brettanomyces, lactobacillus, and pediococcus) and saison yeast. We lightly dry hopped this beer with German Hallertau Mittelfrau. That all developed into a spicy and tropical saison with integrated and lively acidity bringing flavors of tropical citrus, pineapple, pepper, and a faint hint of wet wood in the background. Hope you all enjoy! 6% abv.

    1250 bottle release. $13 per 500ml bottle

currently beer friends but it looks like it'll be a full release. Probably tomorrow from the looks of it. Pickup is this friday, so public is probably tomorrow.
