    Hi BA's! Coming up on 1 here in cool, rainy NOVA & I'm here with my final contribution to the greatness that was Beeradvocates, Booknotes & Beers:

    This ancient pocket dictionary is of unknown origin to me. It lacks any sort of publication history, however it's weathered & brittle frame attest to it's age. It features pages of currency conversion charts that list forms of tender that haven't been in use for some time. This tiny book somehow found it's way to me after what I can only imagine were years of interesting travel. I (gingerly) look through it some times & imagine where it has been, what it's 'seen'.
    Sometimes value can only be measured in the eye of the beholder.
    This book has immense value to me.

    I'd like to take a moment to thank @LeperJim for overseeing a great year of books & beer! It's been great fun, LJ!

    From after work yesterday, Maui Brewing's latest creation, a bourbon barrel aged porter called #HiKy. Wish they bottled their BA beers, haven't had a bad one yet.

    A little lunch beer after a bit of bottle shopping (off time between school and work is incredible). I'm drinking a beer that is dedicated to a race on my bucket list. I guess it's the lame way of partaking in the Dirty Kanza.
