Freshen that cup for you? Don't mind if I do. My last bottle of these,

 

Drinking local today. Yorkshire Blackout. Smells insane! I'm guessing massive amounts of chocolate malt used. Check out the cheeky flat cap pattern on the bottle top too!

Heating things up a bit in the yard. Once upon a time this beer was nowhere to be found around here, now it litters every store counter and shelf. I guess the $8.49 price is scaring people away? I'll gladly pop for a few now and then! Time to fuel the fire, have yourself a fine one.

I'm always hesitant to post any JF on here as it's polarizing stuff to say the least. But with Crate Night coming up (@PatrickCT ), I got to thinking about vinyl that I had to let go at some time or another. I was, briefly, an owner of the absurdly rare Estrus 7". Had to cash in on it some years back & I've been regretting doing so to this day.

#2 BA's! Now around 12:30 here in flat-out cloudy NOVA & I'm onto this:

Pretty darn good. The nose & everything up to the mid palate is really impressive. To me, it falls off a bit through the finish - all I'm getting is a hollow, one-note clunkiness. Still, glad I picked it up :-)
