    Headed out to Lawrence, Kansas for the 1st round of the NCAAs today. Should be getting there at 11:30PM, nice looooooooooong day of traveling! Had a couple last night to send me off, started with this one I shared with my wife. Excellent sour beer

    Howdy - rare internet connectivity allowing me to say I had a Cap D'Ona Blond and a rye-based stout over the last couple of days. A rare microbrewery here in southern France. Not bad, and certainly better than the other swill generally served here. Cheers all!

    Good morning, enjoying Melvin Hubert this morning while I went to check the Citra IPA I brewed on Saturday. Right now sweet sweet love is happening. The perfect start to a morning sipping on a great beer while watching and listening to the bubbles roll from the air lock, it's rather peaceful, sorta like coffee on the deck on a cool morning.     Happy Monday!

    Today's (first) beer is a Kwaremont from Belgium. This beer is named after a steep climb in the route of the 'Ronde van Vlaanderen' an epic one day bicycle race for professionals. Besides good beers, Belgium is also famous for these early season bicycle races. Bit like the Tour de France, but most of the time with harsh conditions like bad weather and medieval cobblestone roads.

    History of this kind of cycling goes back even before the First World War. Riding a racing-bicycle and drinking craft beer was already a common combination in Belgium in those days :slight_smile:
