What's the freshest MPA / IPA / DIPA to be had in CO this weekend? Early May?

 

i got some 5/18 IPA and I think 5/20 2x4.

 

I saw the same dates that @ArrogantB saw on the IPA and 2x4. The Hubert I saw was from April.

 

I have some older stuff and it's still fuckn' awesome.

Had a melvin ipa next to pliny last weekend in Estes, the nose on melvin was frutier and more pronounced. The flavor was off the chain, didnt finish my pte and had a second pint of melvin. Holy shit thats good beer.

 

Just drank a 4/21 MPA and it was dope. Snagged some 5/27 IPA and tasted a bit grassy to us, might smooth out a bit in a couple more days. Still excellent tho.

 

Had 2x4 and Hop Shocker on tap here in DC last night. Hate you guys.

 

At Highlands Ranch beer festival yesterday, surprised to see Melvin being poured at the Crooked Stave tent. Even though I had some in the fridge, had to get 2nds of each (Hubert, IPA, 2x4). Great stuff.

 

Pretty sure Hubert is my favorite beer around.

It really is close to perfect, isn't it? Until (if ever) Comrade or Cannonball Creek start canning, it's this one and 'Bout Damn Time for me.

The last MPAs I picked up were about three weeks old- that works for me!

 

5/19 Hubert isn't fresh? Tough crowd.

 

I want to go to there.

All I see is April.

 

I'm deliberately holding a can of each until they're 6 months old just to see how they hold up.
