Strolled in at 7:35 after dinner and was able to grab one of the last 4-packs, small batch IPAs the way it should be. I'd love to see Monkish releases go this same way: raise the price a bit and lower the limits so as many people get it as possible.

I did get a kick out of everyone holding their tasting glass up to the light like it's a $100 Cabernet

But it doesn't seem to be working, the lines keep getting longer. It's almost like the nimrods for some reason don't care about your clearly superior opinion. I can't figure it out. Like, your posting is not at all monotonous or tedious, and you don't come across as a d-bag at all, and yet your campaign doesn't seem to be having any effect. A true mystery.

Well I didn't say that they told me that because I didn't ask. I heard them tell others. I went with the intention to only get my 1 4-pack (which I did), but I did see a guy get 3 4-packs. And there was no way they could've missed him because he had a unique look. So I was just saying.

So how rare does it taste?

I think the IG guy trading a BVDL for some number of 4-packs is going to be disappointed

I get the limit one, but how does increasing the price get it out to more people? Seems dumb

Where is this from? I only know of one or two places for 2nd market sales. Its more curiosity for me. Like watching Maury just to laugh at people. Would love to know. Thanks.

It's a very dank, crisp, amazing aromas, clean beer. For a 8.5% ABV beer it goes down smooth.

This is more of a west coast style DIPA, very good overall.

This is nothing like a Treehouse beer and those who hope it is will be dissapointed.

    Still a good beer.

My beer collectibles, you'll laugh at how much people have paid for Monkish cans from him. Can't blame him for flipping these beers.

If it's truly limit one the price is irrelevant

Based on IG tags, most people didn't have trouble getting 4+, perhaps the higher price deterred some people from shelling out $100s to hoard an IPA?

Never again. It wasn't even really too bad, but I am sick of this shit and feel like a total doucher for buying into it. I love you Noble, but now I hate myself. Cheers anyway...

Gets it out to richer* people. Spoken like a true dbag who has the time and money to rationalize $180 and 10hrs of line waiting for 9 4packs on a Thursday mid-afternoon. Don't people work?

Edit: or actually that's a decent job. Buying 9 4packs, selling for 200% profit. For 10hrs work that aint bad.
    I hate you all.

I'll be honest, I felt like a total dipshit for waiting more than 30 minutes for a 4 pack of beer no matter how good it was. I thought the line would've moved faster once they opened for sales but with them trying to get people to buy other stuff they didn't want, it probably slowed everything down to a crawl.

The beer itself is great. Super crisp and clean and fresh AF. It's a Noble beer for sure. I bet CM helped with dialing up the dank on it. I could've put down 4 pints of it easy if they had it on draft when it was on sale.

As I've said before, I don't give a shit what it looks like. If you drink or don't drink an "east coast style" because of the haziness, you have issues. I drink stuff because I enjoy it.

The funny thing in all this is that I'm pretty sure they tried adding flour to the beer to try to get it hazier. Good god. Had I known this beforehand I would've skipped it just on principle alone. Unfortunately I was in the area for something else yesterday and decided to give the line a try.
