Following the Speedway Stout with another California brew, Racer 5 from Bear Republic. Not breaking news here but those left coasters make some damn fine beer. Enjoy everyone!

Coffee Kolsch from Huss Brewing After a 61 mile bike ride and mowing a yard I needed something light with CAFFINE.

 

He's there in prime position: Dust My Broom at song #3.

Getting ready for a movie with Anosteke Brune. First time trying out Anosteke, enjoyed their blonde and IPA very much. It's a bit sweet with some tints of coffee, and a tiny bit of sting, probably due to the higher alcohol content (8.5%). I think the closest I've had to it taste-wise is Leffe Brune.

 

drinks incredibly good - awesome Cherry characteristics.

 

That beer continues to get better with age. I believe I still have some 2012.

 

Pfriem Pilsner - 4.9% - Classic Saazer spicy hop flavor - decent maltiness - VERY refreshing

I wish I had an Alpine Nelson for a side by side -- this one is that good.

 

An up and coming Maine brewery, Fore River, this being their Lygonia IPA, it's a nice change up from some of the intense tropical and citrus IPA's around, having a more floral flavor, and it's a good looking brew.

 

A flight at the Three Notch'd Brewery (a lot of history in the name).

No Veto brown ale and Ghost of 43rd pale ale.

Lexical Gap at Pollyanna is pure gold! A really solid and overlooked Illinois IPA.

 

Good afternoon, all! Beautiful day in the Cedar Valley, mild temps, low humidity, bit of a breeze, perfect for a bike ride. We have an extensive trail system here, so I was able to get in a 23-mile loop without having to ride in traffic. Now it's time to rehydrate with this Sea Dog Raspberry. Pretty refreshing, but Rübæus it ain't.
