What beer are you drinking now? #1358

A simple Pilsner will do in this heat.

 

Haha. It literally tasted like summer.

 

I'm not sure I even know why, but I always find myself reaching for one of these when I open my beer fridge. It was first brewed 30 years ago. It tastes pretty good to me right now.

 

That was easy SN Pale a Ale in a chilled pint. Got to get a couple in before heading to my sons award banquet

 

Picking up the pace

 

Good evening WBAYDN. After about four hours of driving and a late departure, we are in this year's Vacation Location in Harpswell, ME. Everywhere we thought about stopping on the way up was JAMMED. We did manage a leg stretch at When Pigs Fly in Kittery, but all we got was bread. Mobbed, I tell ya. Rude kids taking handfuls of bread from the sampling plates....did I keep my mouth shut? Nooooooo.... The missus was a bit put out, but c'mon, man... York River Landing....packed and I think it was 2:30 or so when we went by there. So we got to the cottage, scoped everything out, went to the grocery store for morning essentials, a pizza for suppah, and crash landed.

Founders Rubaeus on the left, Sixpoint Jammer on the right. Ocean inlet backdrop, foggy, windy, cold. Remember, before commenting on picture quality...how often do ya see me posting pictures? And I am not in the running for Glass of the Day because any glass will do, mostly...meaning I forgot them at home.

Dinner done. Moving on to Poolside and smores with the kiddos.

 

Holy Moley!
I guess thats why they charge so much for their offerings.

I'm in full on lazy couch potato mode, and posting this one from the phone. Just a quick turn sideways, and

I enjoyed using the fancy pants mug last night so much that I had to get it out again. Nothing like a couple pounds of crystal in your hand.

 

I'm in Vineland, NJ at my daughters soccer tournament. We went to te local liquor store and the best I could do cold was the Torpedo. The highlight though was the can of Charles Chips I found by the register. When I was a kid we had these delivered to our house. Honestly, I thought this didn't even exist anymore. Can't wait to break into this can.
