First beer from these fight (Tighthead Brewing Company), this is a really good APA for a steamy (still) summer day. Has a lot more body than a beer weighing in at 4.8% ABV should have, which is nice.

After a couple of (quite tasty) IPAs, decided to go for some dessert after dinner...

Not quite proper glassware although I did pick this up while in Asheville...

    Not too bad either:slight_smile:

Unfortunately, a good friend of mine who had muscular dystrophy passed away on the way home from the annual camp for adults with MD. At least he had a great last week. We're gonna miss you, Mike Trimpe, you magnificent fucking bastard.

I think this is my first Clown Shoes beer. Always thought about checking them out, but this is the first time i followed through on it.

Just learned these guys have reunited for a tour. Would love to be able to catch one of their shows.

Wow! GI sour program definitely still strong in 2016. Lolita was ridiculous as well. May have to grab every bottle I find under $20.

2012 Behemoth. Hops are no longer there. Apple, cherry, malty , no alcohol, really drinkable. Prefer it fresh with the insane amount of hops they use in this beer. Glad to try it though

What an interesting beer. It smells like tropical fruit (pineapple, mango, papaya) and the overall smell suggests that this will be a sweet-ish beer. Yet the taste is primarily hoppy bitter and only a tiny bit tart (Little Brett is a very appropriate name). Medium bodied and extremely refreshing. What a great beer for a hot summer's day (and not only).

Last one, I'm pounding out more singles tonight than Pete Rose. This is like Lizard King with Belgian yeast. Simply outstanding. Have a supreme Saturday, BA's.

After last night's escalating ABV adventures, I'm going to keep it steady tonight, starting with Monkish Really Real. Also getting ready to break in my newly acquired, remastered vinyl of Moving Pictures. Is there anything not perfect about the preceding two sentences? Also: GO GIANTS.
