Does anyone know where to buy crowlers in Seattle? We hit up Growler Guys in Portland and was hoping to find a similar place here. I feel like crowlers are the most efficient way to bring back beers via carry on luggage.

Chuck's (both locations) and The Beer Junction do crowler fills of most things on tap.

Okay, cool. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't stepping on any toes since you put in the work to build the list.

Arriving in Seattle tonight from Boston. What hot new releases should I be on the lookout for?

Head over to Fremont for a pour of Rusty Nail and/or First Nail.

Fremont released Rusty Nail yesterday. Bottles all gone at the brewery but it's still on tap and bottles should hit retail sometime this week.

Holy Mountain is worth a visit. They probably still have Witchfinder bottles to go.

Urban Family just released a Kriek and Harmony of Spheres, a blend of the Kriek with blueberries. Both available at the brewery.

Lucky Envelope in Ballard serves up a fantastic Helles Lager that last year won a medal at the nationals. Last night, it was tremendous. Their ENIAC IPA was also quite good. My brother and I went to Reuben's after that and found the place super crowded. We thought the Lucky Envelope beers were smoother and more enjoyable. YMMV.

All solid recommendations. Another solid bar serving WA made craft beer is Flatstick Pub (in both Kirkland and now Pioneer Square). I don't think I've seen them mentioned yet (if they were please forgive me).

They ONLY serve WA made craft beer and in addition to having the Reuben's, Fremont's, Cloudbursts of the industry have a ton of other small and upcoming WA breweries (Standard, Pacific Malting, Skookum, PostDoc) on tap all the time as well.

Oh... and there is min-golf too! Who doesn't like mini-golf!

For those interested, Latona Pub has 2013 Maritime Pacific Jolly Roger on tap. "It's Christmas in July."

I stopped in this afternoon at Floating Bridge Brewing since they had their grand opening on Friday. It's on 45th in the U District across from Petco in the old Fusion/Rainbow Tavern space. Really nice buildout, they had five or six beers on already. Nothing too fancy, wheat, Amber, CDA, Bitter, IPA, etc. Had a small pour of their IPA, little bit green but had a really nice Mosaic aroma.

I hope they do well, it's nice to see more North Seattle breweries not in Ballard.

Anything/anywhere decent for a fill or glass in Auburn...preferably off 18 and nearish Muckleshoot? I'm here until Wednesday.

There's some stuff up the road in Enumclaw. Geaux is moving down there but not open yet, so currently Auburn itself is a bit of a wasteland for craft beer.

    How is the Muckleshoot casino?

I've never been there before, actually. Looking up checkins on Untappd, there's Georgetown, Deachutes, Elysian, 7 Seas, Puyallup River Brewing, etc. mixed in among Budweiser, Heineken and Sam Adams.

99 Bottles is right of 18 in Federal Way, by the way.

I second this emphatically. Staying anywhere near FW - like Auburn - is worth taking the time to hit 99 Bottles.

Don't know if you've got a car with you, but I'd pop into Tacoma and stroll back and forth across the street (more or less) between Red Hot and Engine House #9.

I've always dug Big Time, used to stop by whenever heading up to my brother's old place in your corner of WA, but my last experience was about 4 yrs ago. Considering the colossal pain in the ass it is finding parking in the U-district, I'm not sure if I'd make the trip if otherwise spending time in another part of town, but if passing nearby, I would consider a stop at Seattle's oldest brewpub.
