Have you had the chance to try this one:
    https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/14936/203331/

I think it might break your distaste for raspberry in a beer.

I thought the raspberry character was fairly weak and it ended up being quite meh overall (and I'm an Eclipse fan in general). Maybe there's some bottle variation but if I wasn't a fan of raspberry stouts, that Eclipse variant wouldn't do anything to change my mind.

Never had the pleasure, but hopefully the HS Exclusive is a similar experience for me that this beer was for you.

My experience with raspberry stouts/porters/barleywines is that they've always had this cloying artificial flavor. Hopefully that was just because those specific ones were artificial and this is better, but I'm wary.

I looked at todays email for the Terreux Terre Sauvage and didn't see Shart of Darkness. It was now called Shard of Darkness. Was it a mistake in the first email?

That was kinda my point that I should have made more clear. It wasn't overwhelming with a raspberry flavor and because of that I didn't feel the fruit dominated and took away from what I expected the beer to be.

There are a fair amount of ill-considered raspberry stouts out there, but this one proved to me that they can be truly exceptional: Haymarket Clare's Thirsty Ale.

I've had lindley park twice in the last six months. I love it very much, very enjoyable!
Of course, I love raspberry - but I'd highly recommend it.

Whenever I'm trading to someone in that area, I always try to expand a bottle of LP.

I thought it was better than Westbrook 5th anniversary.

I need to get in on some of that Lindley Park, I've only had Omega Point, which is one of the top 5 beers I've ever had.

If you're ever looking for Lindley Park message me. I still have bottles of 2015 and 2016 should be out soon. Also have bottles of omega point still.

I like a lot of what Old Hickory puts out. Their Event Horizon is great, especially at it's price point. Omega Point was very on point

I've got a couple Lindley Park's but haven't cracked one recently... this conversation is making me want to do just that.

I liked Event Horizon as well, but LP was much tastier.

Now I gotta hunt down a H.S. member that doesn't want to max out the Hoarders Cuvee! I can dream!

Was going to chime in but it's been said, Lindley Park and Event Horizon are great beers with the raspberry addition. Dragon's Milk Raspberry wasn't so much, a little syrupy, but not overly sweet.
