I heard it's going to be Bloody Sunday. Made with real Hoarder blood, so you know it's good.

But seriously, I'd love to see them mimic MW GM and CR with SHIT as the base. In theory, that'd bring the price down and make it something that's easier to open with a fewer people [not ~20%abv].

 

Personally SHIT is still too strong. I'd love to see it closer to 9-10%

 

Just got the email about Blue BBLs release in the Terreux tasting room. I may be jaded, but I'd rather have seen more allotment of the beer than for it to trickle down to everyone for purchase. Kind of irritated about that.

Rue Sans sounds awesome.

 

Plus, I just got a response to my question if we will know what's the Hoarders BT variant, before the renewals this year and the answer is "not likely". Well, that would certainly make my decision about renewing go one way.

The whole out of state members discussion form a couple pages ago reminded me, I need a new trustee. Anyone interested in Indiana/Midwest beers and/or cut of RS beers for some trustee duties? Message me if interested.

 

Frucht: BeRazzled and Gremlin(Hoppy Belgian) got tapped while I was in the tasting room. Shegoat kicked, but I'm glad they are still opening archive kegs.

 

Berazzled! I haven't heard that name in a long time. That was the beer that got me into tart beers. That and Bemangoed.

 

Raspberry Frucht ? More than down with that. Comparative to berazzled? Fuck yeah.

 

Its pretty obvious whats happening. Terreux is basically dead all of the time while the OG tasting room is still packed. They've been releasing stuff like this to try and force people to go over there and see it. They did in person bottle releases of TOD w/cherry and vanilla a couple weeks ago.

I get it would have been nice for more member bottles, but at the end of the day they are trying to make their new tasting room successful so they are doing some new stuff to try and get people to go over there.

 

If I lived closer, I would be super happy actually with the fact that new tasting room is not packed. Only managed to go there once so far, but it was an awesome experience and 100 times better than the always crowded OG location. But yeah, I totally get it, that they don't want it this way of course.

 

Last Friday the Terreux tasting room had bottles of Ruebarb, Sourrento, TOD w C&V, Frambulous, and I heard they added Blue bbls to that list.

 

yea plus they have fuzzy bbls and cordial bbls as well

 

Also doesn't help that the live taplist on terruex's website doesn't work.
