Best round of golf in many weeks!
We went to Ruby's, one of the local dives, after golf. Limited beer selection, but they always have SNPA on tap.
Here's to the weekend!

A Troubadour Magma from the Belgian brewery The Musketeers. 'Beer that makes you talk' is their motto. Must be no problem after this 9% alc. beer

Not too boozy, nice depth of taste. Next time when I'm south of the border (down Belgium way), I'll look for some other in their Troubadour series.

After reviewing todays thread, how can you not be thirsty. Taking in an Art Hop Ale Imperial Blonde from Magic Hat. I think I rated it at 3.96. A good brew for summer day.

Festina Peche by Dogfish Head

Artwork: A fairly cutesy label depicting what appears to be a smiling peach/sun creature rising above a field of peaches, barley and various critters. Kinda like it.

Appearance: Head that lasts a total of 5-seconds (pour time included) which is typical of US-made Berliners (not that I've had anything else). Hardly any signs of carbonation. Hazy yellow.

Nose: Very metallicy. No detectable peach or other fruit. None of the lactic sourness of most Berliners. In general I do not find the nose to be too appetizing.

Taste: Not as tart as most Berliners. Very tasty otherwise. Peach barely detectable. Little in the way of complexity. Fairly crisp.

Mouthfeel: Medium body. Very little carbonation.

Overall: Very refreshing but that's about it. Would drink again if found for cheap.
