Both of those sound delicious! Those labels are pretty awesome too.

Mocha Wednesday started out as Hoarders only, and the first release of Grey Monday was one per RS member back before HS existed (so probably would have been HS if it had existed back then), so it is not surprising that a new "day of the week" BT variant would start out as a Hoarders exclusive, then open up to RS next year.

Anyone have an extra ticket for the Terreux event this evening?

I had a great time at the Terreux event yesterday - tons of great stuff to try. I especially enjoyed the Frucht variants, which I hadn't tried before yesterday - aside from the normal line-up, the one-offs, cucumber and watermelon, were both great. The Oude Tart w/ Black Currants was the best looking beer of the day (and was incredibly juicy). Plenty of food and mellow crowds. Just wish there were some cold brew coffee options (although, from past experience, I know that the coffee/sour beer combo can be a little rough on the stomach). Well done, Bruery!

^Edit: SITR Black Currants, not OT. OT w/ raspberries was really good also.

Costco in San Francisco has Poterie for $21.99. That was unexpected and fantastic!

Same price at Eureka Costco last week, I got 6 of them. Way cheaper than Bruery store especially when you count shipping cost. Great find for sure!

You should have a Bruery and a Costco membership, they're both great.

I know it ruins the joke, but you don't need a Costco membership to buy beer from there

Cheaper than a HS member would get it too. Maybe more of their beers would move if they marked them at their lowest selling price.

They pumped a ton of that stuff up to the Bay Area. Sadly it never was seen in the OC CostCo locations. We got Mash and a few other but no Poterie (at least that I saw or was reported).

Maybe that is a good thing. My wallet would hate me.

Actually the Costco membership is the one I really should cancel. The savings are not worth the time required and the human press. I think we haven't been once this year

    You are Costco-ing incorrectly.

Opened my bottle of Chronology 24 tonight and it was exquisite. Seemed extremely similar to the Anniversary beers, but at the upper end of the various years and variants. I haven't tried others from the Old Ale series.

How are folks liking the Wee Heavy series relative to the Old Ale series? I enjoyed the Wee 6 but wasn't as impressed with the 12. Tasty, but seemed to be all barrel flavor with the base beer totally underwhelmed. Did the Old Ale series do that before coming back majestically with the 24?

Don't worry, if the beginning of this year has been any indication so far it'll trickle down to RS this year.

I thought the same thing. When I had Wee Heavy 6, I was way more impressed than OE 6. The whole OE series was great. There was one I thought was a little under par. Overall great concept.
