First Enjoy By! Holy crap, damn fine Double IPA we have here. There is a fine Elegance to it. It's not a pallet wrecker by any means but It's still most definitely a West Coast IPA. But there is a Juiceyness to it Unlike most West Coast IPAs which is a little more inline with the New England IPA. The "Unfiltered" character is underwhelming in appearance, in fact it looks rather filtered but Im sure it still adds some flavor and mouth-feel to the beer because it does have a slightly creamy/smooth texture to it. This is an excellent and well crafted Double IPA that offers a little of that New England tropical juice character, while still being a true and proper West Coast IPA. 9.5/10.
    Cheers!

Since my shoulder has not been cooperating, I had to lay off swimming. So to reduce the ever emerging beer belly, I walk almost everyday. Took a walk a few hours ago. Got home and told my wife that it is hot as Hades and I am drenched. Her response was..are you a lunatic..why are taking the chance old man. So I responded, if I may borrow the words from a Billy Joel song, that it just may be a lunatic you're looking for.

Started out an hour ago doing some home brewing equipment maintenance and had to replace a broken spigot. After all, while working on beer equipment, one must enjoy a beer during the process - right?!!

Founds these online and a perfect design: 360 degree rotation and even has an extra safeguard in place to help block sediment ... simple, but very practical. Nicely done!

Keepin' it real time: So impressed with this fresh one, 'went out and bought more yesterday ... pretty much the rest of what was left on the shelf. :grimacing: I apologize to my fellow brew-migos in West Allentown and hate to be labeled as "that" guy who tapped the store out. :flushed:

Then again, no bottle limits involved so open season!! :sunglasses:

    :stuck_out_tongue:

    PROST!!

Don't take this the wrong way, but I like your spigot. Where did you find that?

It's one of my favorite beers. It is a really nice, crisp pilsner. They put locally popped popcorn in when they brew it. Not a lot of popcorn taste in it. Just a great pilsner.

Just seeing this year's model with a new label hitting stores this week....DFH used to always wait til Sept 1 to release this beer.....

Last years is still tasting great, in a vintage glass to boot
