With a heavy heart, I think I need to sit this one out.

I'm making a serious bid for a career change (got another interview tomorrow morning), and I might fall victim to the dreaded salary desert for a couple crucial weeks. Also, this job opportunity is 18 miles away, and if I get the morning shift before the busses are running I'll be driving 36 miles roundtrip each day at a minimum. Plus, I've got other boxes to get out to some deserving folks, so I think the smart thing to do is take a BIF breather.

But best wishes for positive results in your career change mission.

Thanks. One of (numerous) positives to this job change, if successful <knocking on wood> is I'd be very advantageously placed for beer runs to Selkirk Abbey and other North Idaho beer destinations after work on Friday nights. This could benefit someone in any NBS BIF # 5 that should occur.

Well that's too bad, one less WA repper. Looks like @kemoarps will have to hold up the Evergreen States end of the thing. You are in, right kemo?

Uh, yes. Next question. I'm leaving for Colorado in four weeks, but I'll figure out the details of making it happen. Might include a later box of goodies from my trip.

It's a step I didn't want to take, but the logic for sitting this one out is just staring me in the face. Nevertheless, this knived monkey could still be making the occasional jab from the sidelines.

And, who knows, there might be a ninja monkey who delivers a can or two as the share date approaches?

Anything special with this BIF? I see the 144 oz requirements. Anything else in particular

We focus on beers that are New Beer Sunday eligible for your target. An NBS beer is one your target hasn't had before. This makes your local shelf beers perfect for sending to someone who lives far away. You can try to hit stuff on your targets Wants list if you want, and you can send Walez if you want, but it's not expected. The other requirement is to post a couple reviews of the beers you get on NBS, preferably on the "Official" share date. But, generally, people receive enough beer that they end up posting on multiple NBS's.

Just housekeeping here. So far we have:

Smanson, boralyl, sammyjaxxx, jhavs, tongorad, ozzylizard, beerloserli, 2beerdogs, richj1970, cavedave, prager62, strohme2, larryi86, foundersasap, and myself. That makes for 15 so far, lets see if we can all nudge some fence-sitters along.
