Big Bad Baptist and Dragon's Milk for me. Too bad Siren Noire is only seasonal. For $7.99 a bomber I was shocked at how good that was.

Backwoods is no longer readily available around STL, it's gotten too popular :slight_frown: Stuff doesn't even last a full day with no reservations and a 4-pack limit.

Schlafly's BBA Imperial Stout and Oak aged Barleywine are readily available for me.
Boulevard's Imperial Stout, BBQ, and Rye-on-Rye are never too hard to find when released. BBQ most of all by far, but I can always get it at least once on tap.
    And I can't leave out Dragon's Milk!

Central Waters if you're in the Midwest. Around $14 for a 4-pack. Barleywine followed by Stout followed by Peruvian Morning. The Scotch Ale didn't really do it for me.

Big Bad Baptist. Better than Oak-Aged Chocolate Yeti because of the actual bourbon barrel usage.

Tyranena does some interesting barrel aging, but almost all of it is blended :slight_frown:

Deliciousness of Labyrinth confirmed. A bit too boozy in the aroma IMO but the flavor and mouthfeel are excellent. Happy snow day!

I'm not sure how everyone will feel about a 2 and 1/2 year old thread being revitalized, but I just have to share this for those who aren't already aware. Boulevard's Bourbon Barrel Quad, as of today, is now year round, and in 4-packs of 12 ounce bottles! Here in KC at the store I picked mine up I paid $14.99. Incredible deal!

Blue Mountain Dark Hollow, I've introduced many a person to it who have all then run out to grab their own bottles.

    Another vote for Dragons Milk

You probably knew this, but the pedant in me can't help clarifying: regular Mogli is oak spirals, but there's a variant that is BBA (clearly stated on the label).

Central Waters makes delicious BBA beers; just don't know how much distribution they have outside of Wisconsin. Love Big Bad Baptist, but not a n FL yet that I've seen ... So Backwards Bastard which in my old neighborhood did not last long on the shelves.

I came here to say this very thing. We see plenty of BA Central Waters stuff here, and it's very good if you like lots of bourbon and lots of barrel (which is not a problem for me).

Pike's Entire Wood Aged Stout is under the radar and a steal at $9 a bomber.

I always see that black xantus. But is it worth 15 bucks? When I can get a 4 pk of dragons milk for 13 dollars.

Dragons milk is the best easily available ba stout hands down. Now there is so many better hard to get beers. But you cannot beat dragons milk as a every day stout
