I definitely don't think it's a better option, I'm married with kids. I'd much rather be able to crack a can at my convenience. But, it usually is, at the very least, an option.

Guess I was in the right place at the right time. Stopped into Malt and Mold LES right after opening and by the time I left there was a line of familiar faces out the door. $7 a can though.
At least I dont have to run around now. Nevermind...Splish.

Damn why didnt I go there. I guess if anyones chasing trucks, you have a nice run from top hops to malt and mold then up to ABC and Good Beer.

I cant believe people spend money to send people to pick up $7 cans of beer.

M&M gramercy sold out of PW but not LD when I went an hour ago, so I think that may be the case cause I doubt people only got PW.

City Swiggers was doing 1 of each and had more than 2 cases left as of 14:00.

@darrenbeerman - I'm ok with sending an SO to pick up beers, even tagging along for a few extra. Dragging along mom and grandpa to up your allotment is a little annoying but like you said, what a time. On that note, for the OH Mo+Ga release I stood behind a woman who was at least 70 who brought a handtruck and was sent by her son that lived in NJ. She's a saint.

This gets brought up every time, but does BA really see a problem with asking someone to pick up beer for them? I'll be the first to admit that I've asked my significant other to go to Whole Foods for me (she works across the street.) I dont see a problem as long as you're not circumventing limits

@NewmansOwn It's an issue for people who don't get their hands on the beer but from a general beer etiquette POV it is not a problem.

My GF has offered to go for me on several occasions as she is near a WFs and has a much more flexible schedule than I do. I will never turn down that offer nor judge anyone else for doing the same.

Now, Postmates and TaskRabbits I will judge.
