    Simcoe hops, baby. People can talk all the sh*t they want, but the GF version is better than a lot of shelf options. Now, if only they can resurrect my beloved Nelson.

    40 miles on the bike trails earned me a Zipline Lime Gose. This really hits the spot.

    I only noticed one beer tent at the Apple Festival. Bacchus Brewing Co. out of Dryden, NY.
    Had a sample of each.

    regular version is amazing, roasty and chocolate galore, but BA version is better without a doubt. the barrel adds vanilla, whisky, oak, and enhances the mouthfeel.

    Enjoying this one quite a bit lots of tangerine. Officially have a cold, going to have a fire tonight and try not to burn down the back 40. :grimacing: Will try to post but I think people are coming over.

    This one was canned 09/01/2016 and is still tasting pretty nicely. I'm not usually a fan of fruited IPA's, but this one isn't bad at all.

    Hunter never had Nelson, so I can't compare. I have only had GF version of all of Alpine beers and the masses say they don't do it as well.:slight_frown:

    I enjoyed Congress out of the bottle, no doubt. That said, this particular batch canned on 9/21 is giving off ripe peach skin notes. Needless to say, it's making me larrrrge. Wait... never mind. BAs who have been around long enough know what I mean. I said LARRRRGE!

    I've never been a follower. While I admit that GF can't replicate it at 100%, their Nelson variant still gives me fits and I've had the OG version. For what it's worth...
