Beer in Omaha, NE

There are certain things it pays to be a regular customer of Beertopia for. If something is going to sell out in 24 hours with a one bottle per person limit, I'm not going to do something to cause tons of people to call the store well after us being sold-out. Also, there are times when GLP requests we don't post about things so he doesn't get swamped with requests (he can't fill) from other accounts. Cheers

i am a regular customer of beertopia. i just dont go every day. And I am not friends with anyone there (or really anyone for that matter). threads like these are basically my only shot.

moving on, I assume we are getting BA ten fidy. anyone know when? think any maple jesus will show up as well?

 

We see a lot of the same people more than once a week (and unfortunately even that means some people will miss some of these highly allocated beers). There are some people we see almost everyday :-). Everything "rare" is first-come first-serve and limited (usually 1 per person per day). Nothing gets held even for our friends or employees. Cheers!

Maple Jesus seems possible based on it hitting other states, possibly on the next 12% shipment. I'm guessing GLP will get very very little if Matt does get it. BA Ten Fidy is definitely coming, I believe it's due in November.

GLP tends to deliver on Wednesdays. With Matt having to unload it, check it in, etc. before selling and delivering it, my guess would be two weeks from today. Just a guess though.

 

Anyone been to CB lately? Just remembered Schlafly TIPA comes out this time of the year and got excited.

Backwoods Bastard tomorrow for Beertopia and Harvest Ale on Tuesday. Why the distributor is aging the wet hop IPA for an 4 extra four days is beyond me...
