Took advantage of an unexpected day off: early voting followed by Stone Xocoveza . Good times!

The mood only strikes me when the alcohol does. :stuck_out_tongue: Once the alcohol strikes me too hard the mood to take pictures evaporates again. :flushed:

    Another Flashback Friday beer

Used to enjoy Grimbergen almost on a weekly basis many years ago. Nothing wrong with it now, but from tap in the pub seems somehow much better

    Cheers!

Another wet hop favorite of mine and a 180 from the Born Yesterday as it's super clear and quite bitter with a huge grapefruit/pine profile. I'm definitely picking up a little alcohol burn as well. I think my palate is preferring Lagunita's this year. Victory was my favorite last year and I'm patiently waiting for it to hit the shelves here soon. I love fresh hop season!

TinyPic is down again and the Bucket is being less than cooperative. I'm beginning to understand the frustration of others that have experienced the same problem.

Happy Flashback everyone! I'm gonna start with a Golden Ale by Oppigårds Bryggeri. This is the first beer that made me go, wow, we can make good craft beer in Sweden as well. I think it was the first beer they made, and it was always in my fridge. Oppigårds has developed into Sweden's steadiest brewers. They are not experimental or crazy, but everything they do is solid and true to style. So, if you're ever in Sweden, Oppigårds is always a safe bet! Haven't had it in a few years, but it is such a good beer. Great balance, smooth and crisp.

    And proper glassware! @Lingenbrau

Even more flashback beer, although I had one earlier this year.

Somehow the distinctive glassware for this beer keeps me from buying this beer to enjoy at home (don't have a Kwak glass).

In most beer-cafe's around here you have to pay for the glass in advance (when they have special Kwak glassware at all that is). Your money is returned when you bring back the glass in one piece.

Tastes great from the Chouffe glass you see in the picture.

    Cheers!

Despite the weird warmth today, this is going well with the cloudy, drizzly gloom. I think the reset of this month's beer budget is going to more of these.

Seriously looking forward to this DLC dropping next week.

Both! Love stange glasses (let's be real...I love all glasses ), but being predominantly of Swedish background despite my German last name, I can't help but be drawn to all things Swedish. Make that "something" a beer and it's a no brainer...I want them all! :sunglasses::grinning:

Eliminate sleep time because that doesn't count, and round down. Good to go.
