Hope this is the right forum for this question! I primed by the bottle today (I know someone will fault me for this) and I'm worried that I may have overdone it with the priming sugar. I used 2.5 oz dissolved in 1 cup of water and I put 2 tsp of this solution into each bottle. My math goes like this:

2.5 oz of sugar divided into 8 fl oz is 0.31 oz per fl oz.

2 tsp is .33 fl oz

Therefore.... .10 oz of priming sugar per 12 oz beer (glass bottle, metal cap). This equals 2.9 grams of priming sugar per beer. Is this overkill? Any risk of carb bombs? Is my math accurate?
