On a somewhat serious note - after 100+ years, is one enough? Are you overjoyed with this one championship? I know immediately after my team's drought ended, the elation faded faster than expected into: it isn't enough. It was a bit more than pure greed, to be sure, though not devoid of it. Just curious if it's something felt by any Cubs fans (yet)?

 

I've been using that today. Great, free site to use! The beer is pretty good too.

 

10/24 canning, 8% abv - features Mosaic, Falconer's Flight, and Citra... one o' those beers that makes you just crave more - a rare find, and always a one-can limit...

I talked about the prospect of certain guys leaving and certain guys coming back, rotation changes, and such a lot during the season but that's just because I talk a lot of baseball with people. I haven't thought about any of those things in a couple days now. I can't say that one is enough. It's amazing, obviously, but every year for my whole life I have wanted them to wear the belt. A few years ago they had 101 losses, I knew they wouldn't but I wanted it anyways. I'm sure when next year starts I'll want the same thing again.

Edit: Also, that was just me and a buddy going back and forth. I'm far too superstitious to do any shit talking in regards to my teams.
