How does this compare to Trillium? Still haven't found anything (outside of Tired Hands) that I like more than da Trill.

You know I keep it real with the IPA. Trillium, but in fairness, I'm basing this assessment on the fact that one company has a much larrrger portfolio. I've had so many beers from Trillium. I'm only having 3 from Proclamation today. In my humble opinion, Tree House, is the Massachusetts champ. It's just their can limits that suck. That's why I prefer a Trillium trip.

Damn. Guess I need to move Tree House higher on my must-visit list. They're the only major ipa player that I haven't yet tried!

Yard work juice. Monkish Sip the Juice. Pretty great stuff right here. Anyone else bored with the mediocrity in the NFL this year? I'm probably in the minority. Cheers BA!

So I'm still laid up on day 2 of sick leave, the old lady still not feeling well either, and we've hit a crisis. My beloved Redskins are playing at 1, and we're criminally short on beer and wings.

Enter my dad, the realest MVP of the day.

This dude went out of his way to hook it up with a plate full of wings and a six pack by the second quarter. Not all heroes wear capes has never rung truer.

I did crack open this little guy who's been sitting in my fridge for a bit, my mother brought it back from a family reunion in Vermont a couple weeks ago. I asked her to pick me up some beers the locals drank, hoping someone would point her in the direction of Heady Topper or some other fantastically rated New England beer I've yet to try, but they gave her this instead. Not a bad amber ale all things considered, I'd drink it again.

In my opinion, the Derivative series stack up favorably. Galaxy is probably my favorite, but the others are certainly no slouches. For such a low ABV APA, they taste like double IPAs. Really incredible.

The rest of their lineup (that I've tried, which isn't much) hasn't impressed. Plus, I can find Proclamation on draught in my neck of the woods, which is a plus.
