So you do cook French. Trout is one of my favorite fish. Everything looks great.
How is the pan seasoning up?

One of the very best English-style pale ales not brewed in England!

Made some shrimp scampi for supper & added some clams on top, delicious. This beer ain't too shabby either.

I have to watch the Charlie Brown special tonight. Punishment for monopolising the TV with all the Knicks games.

Finally that time of the year again. One of my personal favorites. This years offering is the best one yet. They did some reformulation to the beer including leaving it unfiltered. They now call it a cloudy red Ale. The nose on this one is really impressive, dont remember it smelling like weed last year.

    As for the beer......

French taters in a French handled skillet. That's the first I've used that pan, sadly. I haven't cooked a whole lot lately that wasn't on the grill and wanted something starchy and oily for the first go 'round. Those potatoes fit the bill. First time I've had chantrelles in a long while too. Need more mushrooms in my life.

I feel like a dick saying it because you probably already know but don't get that pan wet.
Mushrooms are one of those things I like a lot but don't eat enough. I should pickle some.

Mouthfeel is awesome on this. And the price is just silly cheap. Cheers, Lagunitas!

I actually do get them wet, cast too, if need be. Scrub with light abrasion sponge for sticky things. Dry on high heat and season with lard after each use.

    Dick.

    Or fry some.

Happy Thursday ba. Missed out on these last year but popping my first tonight. Pretty nice stuff. The malt really picks up the wood notes and very drinkable for a bba beer at 8%,

Gonna watch some of the game tonight, but I feel like Zimmer's absence is kinda deflating. Sometimes a team can show up in support, but sometimes they just flounder without their accustomed leadership on the sidelines. Guess we'll see, huh? Dallas is not a team you want to face without your A game.

I have been there two times and had a few of their beers on tap at a few places. They have some good beers. Very small place with minimal hours but worth a stop.
