Good evening, all! While browsing at the thrift store yesterday, I happened upon this gem sitting on a shelf with a bunch of generic beer mugs. It is crystal, with a thick base, an applied handle, and a delicate rim that curves slightly inward. It is not marked, but it bears a striking resemblance to a Tiffany & Co. beer mug I found on ebay. Dare I hope?

The beer: Capital Brewery Winter Skål. Nice red lager, with aromas and flavors of dark bread, raisin, and browned butter. Nicely hopped, a little bitter on the finish. I'd clink glasses with you, but I don't think this one's built for clinking. There are already some small chips on the rim. :slight_frown:

    Beer Advent Calendar day two:
    Cascade Brewing Manhattan NW.
This is one of those beers I would never buy for myself because of the price. No complaints from me when the wife buys it for me!

Watching Christmas cartoons with the kids for pizza/movie night.

Edit:. This is my first Cascade beer and it's amazing. Incredible balance in all the flavors.

Fwiw, I have some Tiffany mugs (of a different design) and the TIFFANY seal is etched on the bottom perimeter in tiny letters.

A late start to the weekend, but I love my wife setting the tone for tonight.

I spent 30 minutes on the elliptical preparing for this bad boy. Given my Scottish frugality, it's hard to spend so much for a can of beer but this one's worth it! I'm glad I have a couple left.

Sounds pretty good. Spotted Cow isn't the greatest beer in the world, obviously, but I've always had a soft spot for it.

I would LOVE to see Tiger get back in the mix and duel with and hopefully beat the young guns at the majors, that would be as exciting as hell for me as a golfer and golf fan!:grinning:Cheers to Friday, woooooo!

Evening, BAs! Got a chance to get out with the Mrs. for a few hours tonight, so we picked up some Mediterranean and stopped by a local pub, Farmington Brewing Co. First round, Piwo Grodziskie and Barleywine

Second round: Hoperation: Black Hops, black IPA. Roasty and floral, but creamier than any black IPA I've had.

Oh, and grape leaves. Next up, Raspberry Imperial Stout

With Siracha Cheddar. Finally, Kolsch and Coffee Stout to go.

For dessert, a stop at the "micro creamy" for a craft cone, Oh Christmas Tree. Goddam, Evergreen and poached pear ice cream is fantastic!

Cheers from Downtown Farmington, MI BAs!
