Good evening BA, hope everyone had a good Thursday. Made it into work extra early as planned. Turns out that traffic through Pontiac is far less shitty at that hour, vs when I usually head out. Pretty busy day overall.

    Daily reviews:

Really good Oktoberfest. Great head retention and nice lacing on my mug. Aromas and flavors of brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty malts; with some light herbal, grassy, peppery hops. Bit of yeast fruitiness in the aromas, minimal in the taste. Minimal herbal/spicy hop and toasted malt bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied; nice bready/grainy creaminess in the mouthfeel. Minimal dryness. Nicely clean on lagering in the flavors. Very flavorful with nice malt complexity for the ABV. Not overly sweet with just enough hop balance. I would buy this again, very drinkable and enjoyable. Quite refreshing too. 3.78

This was fantastic! Aromas and flavors of big dark chocolate, cocoa, nutty coffee, caramel, toffee, toasted dark bread, and light smoke/charred grains; with some herbal/light peppery hops; and subtle dark fruits from the yeast and/or coffee. Moderate herbal/spicy hop and roast/charred bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus bodied; very creamy/bready in the mouthfeel; with a fair amount of chalky roast and hop stickiness as well. Light-moderate increasing roast/char dryness. No astringency. Extremely drinkable. Awesome malt complexity with enormous coffee presence; and solid earthy hops. Great balance all around. 4.23

Amazing sour! Aromas and flavors of huge sour cherry, blackberry, raspberry, strawberry, currant, red grape, plum, fig, leather, pepper, hay, straw, funk, oak, and light red wine vinegar; with some caramel, brown sugar, and brown bread malt balance; and subtle bourbon and oaken vanilla in the back. Good sized fruity/lactic sourness and yeast/tannic oak spice on the finish. Medium bodied; acidic/tannic mouthfeel; with a fair amount of grainy/creamy malt balance. Moderate acidic/tannic dryness. Lightly puckering; still extremely drinkable and never astringent on sourness or oak tannins. This was all around fantastic! Tons of Lacto/Brett complexity, with nice balance of malt, barrel, and fruit flavors. 4.32

Moneytree$. Tastes more American Gose to me than IPA, but we'll see what comes through as it warms up

Thank you. They have baking powder so they puff up. The ones in the picture were just out of the oven. They settle at about 1/4 inch.
