Sooooooo, BBA 8 maids...where is the BBA? It is the least BA beer the bruery has ever done. Got to say I was a bit bummed.

Thirded. Boysenberry is an awesome flavor.

From a bottle or when they had it on tap? I thought it was great on tap.

2 Mash & Coconut for PS, not too shabby. I'll take it.

Bottle. Opened one last night to see if I wanted to buy another. It was the most uninspiring BBA stout the bruery has ever done IMHO.

Has anyone done a vertical tasting of the Chronology Old Ale? Is there enough difference between the ages for that to be interesting? I bought the 4-pack at the last sale and now trying to decide whether I should attack one by one or save for a team event...

All I know is that 24 month is fantastic.

I bought the flight at the bruery earlier this year after 24 came out. For my own tastes the 24 was "too far" and 18 was in the sweet spot.

It seems a shame to take a set like that and drink separately but i'm a sucker for kitchen science.

24 is the only one I've had and it was sublime, so one way or another I'm excited about the others!

I'm with you... problem is I feel like more and more of my cellar is being held aside for grand ideas that never reach fruition. Plus, earlier this year I did three year verticals of both Parabola and Stickee Monkee and was surprised at how similar each year was (all delicious, but little gained from trying side by side).

Tried them all, including in a vertical flight, bought the 4-pack too, because I really enjoyed the Old Ale series.

I thought 6 was very good, 12 was better, and 18 and 24 were excellent.

Looking forward to the upcoming Imperial Porter Chronology series.

What do you guys think will be for sale tomorrow? Their Instagram hints at a "cherry on top. Literally." They already released Frucht: Cherry and Tart of Darkness Cherry/Vanilla......

If I squint, looks like Oude Tart? Looks like they did a sour cherry version of that once.

Pretty sure Oude Tart is their "most award-winning beer", so very likely OT w/cherries.

I'm drinking a Cuvee right now and just think it's a hot mess.

Of the three pours I had, I liked the Cuvee the best, with Thursday second and Wineification a distant third—it genuinely tasted like they intentionally set out to make Charles Shaw worse. Different strokes, I guess.

Maybe the Cuvee will be good after sitting for a year or so but I just let my Steel Reserve drinking couchsurfer fill her flask with 2/3 of the Cuvee before she went out tonight. It's a pity as I was so excited for the end of 2016 and was starting to look forward to 2017 but after this bottle of the Cuvee and PBnThursday I'm starting to regret not letting my trustee take all of my Hoarder's account next year. Oh, well, hopefully Rue d'Floyd will be as good or better than batch 1 was.
