I think somewhere in a given haiku is supposed to be a reference, or something. I don't know. I read it on the intrawebz, so it might be true.

 

I drank a milk stout
cocoa nibs and lactose, too
I <3 Lancaster

 

Winter flight delay.

On balance, I'm fine.

And, reading all your haiku is not a bad way to pass the time, either.

 

Waxing poetic

And regarding 5-7-5, literary rules were made to be broken. But not by novices.
