    Maybe he put his 32 oz crowler fill into his 64oz growler, which then lead to a subpar tasting of TT?

    you see you do learn new things everyday. I didn't even know there was a crowler. sorry for the confusion, i was the only one here confused.
    IMO I wasnt impressed with the beer. i really was expecting more, but maybe my palate isn't quite expert yet to know the difference between a good IPA and bad one.

    Crowlers are relatively new to the OC so there is excitement with the novelty

    That would be for the "premium" fills. The last two 32oz hazy IPA fills that I got there (considered non-premium) were $8 each, so I'm really hoping that crowlers will be more in line with that price. We'll find out soon enough.

    I don't think you'll find much agreement in your assessment of Tongue Tickles as a non-impressive beer.

    Just started drinking craft beer about 3 months ago, so I may not know all the lingo and correct forms of rating a beer, but compared to other beers that I've tired I wasn't too impressed. I'm not saying its a bad beer, I was just expecting more. that's just my opinion, may not be what others think about TT but that's my opinion.

    Give it a shot . . . what, exactly, didn't impress you? Don't worry about lingo, just describe in plain English what you didn't like. You say it wasn't what you were expecting. What were you expecting?

    No Showers as of today, but as far as the hoppy stuff goes, there's 3 hazy IPAs, Tongue Tickles and Big Whig on tap. Plus there's also Naughty Sauce and Cinnamon Roast Crunch on, among others.

    Could just be an off batch of TT. The first few times they made it it was amazing but recently it's been hit or miss between awesome and meh
