Just grabbed a 4 at Canals Lawrenceville. $16.99/4. Ouch.

Also had Dub at $12.99. Of course I also grabbed that.

Did they have a lot of Dub left? Debating driving over...

Not sure. They keep it in the back. Ya gotta ask someone for it. I'm guessing they got it in today though. I've been there every other day this week stalking. 1 four pack of each ID and Dub per person.

Thanks I was able to get a 4 pack! I usually just go to Carton for cans these day. I haven't bought cans from Joe Canals Lawrenceville since they use to keep Boat and Dub in the refrigerated section.

South Jersey PSA! Roger Wilco did indeed have IDIPA and Boat as well.

(They also have the cheapest Cascade bottles I've seen on the East Coast, grabbed one of those too!)

    Cheers.

My first time having any IDIPA and i *love* it. Please keep it available in cans in NYC.

A few Wegmans around the area seem to be getting IDIPA now. It's chilled and out in the open. For all to see. No secret handshake, password, or knowing the shop owner on a first and middle name basis necessary!

    ITS HAPPENING!!

Edit: Failed to mention it was also $2 less than Canals charges. $14.99 vs $16.99. That's a reasonable price!

Little Silver Bottle Shop has about 6 four-packs of IDIPA just sitting there. I might buy up one in a few days if it's still there.

Plus Hoppun, Beach and Unjunct. As long as they're taste the same, I'm excited for more canned offerings. Nice!

Two Roads should be irrelevant: Phil Markowski is a knowledgeable monster...can't wait for the "wood and sour facility"

Can you go more in depth? I feel like I'm out of the loop.

@gardenstatepkwy Markowski was the head brewer at Southampton brewing and is widely respected in the brewing community. He also wrote the book " Farmhouse Ales - Culture and Craftmanship in the Belgian Tradition" which is a must read for us homebrewers who care to brew that style.

    Thanks @jkane101

I've had a few Two Roads brews in the last year or two and have enjoyed them all. Seems Augie found a great partner to help him out while he builds up.

I would venture to say that a Carton brewer brewed the beer at Two Roads. If i remember correctly I think @augiecarton once used the analogy of a chef cooking in a different kitchen.

No problem. I would urge any BA members who just love this hobby to grab some of the homebrewing type of books, even if you never want to homebrew. So much to be learned about the styles of beer your enjoying...just great reads for us beer geeks.

@jkane101 pretty much cleared this up, will just add that...

...Some like to find fault when one decides to contract brew, which is not always the case when the recipe fits the bill (e.g. water, equipment, brewer, etc.). And pretty sure Augie knows which recipes will fit that bill. Hence, the limited list: Beach, Hoppun, IDIPA, Red Rye Returning and Unjunct…Not sure if Boat can be tweaked for the masses just yet, but Oh My for when it does

Shouldn't matter if you like Two Roads or not, as contract brewing is a separate entity; SoS is brewed at Two Roads as well for reference
