Not sure why it took so long but I'm glad they landed safe and sound. Without many wants listed at first, I tried to send lots of local stuff and just hit all new ticks according to your Untappd. The can of Truth wasn't the freshest but it was all I could find when I saw you add it to your list last minute. Enjoy the VBS. The other bottle is a mead I made back in 2014. Barkshack ginger mead with blackberries. Comes in about 14% if I remember, used Champagne yeast to give it a little fizz. Haven't tried one in quite a while so I hope it's tasty. Cheers
VBS from Super Bowl night. This reminded me a lot of Foolery from Hardywood: Raisins, chocolate and bourbon. My first guess was possibly Black Note Stout, but I could tell by the bottle it couldn't be it. Nineteen from CW! This was top notch! Thanks Adam!

The beer: In an effort to keep the #PIF moving along I'm going to limit the beer to a 6 bottle shipper with a range of 88 oz. to 140 oz. of 90+ Rated beer, or 4.0 on Untappd. Beer must be from outside your target's distribution. How it works: Reply to this post with" #PIF I'm in" and I'll randomly chose a winner. Once you've received the #PIF take Pleepleus out to a local brewery and check-in beer under his Untappd username: Pleepleus17. Small swag like mini pins are also encouraged. It's important to show Pleepleus a good time and not let him get bored. Keep the #PIF moving! Hello! I've been on BA for a while but only recently started trading. BIFs seem like a lot of fun and I'd like to participate in a future round. What are the requirements? I didn't see a sticky or BIF info located in the trading FAQs. Thanks!

Hey @mjenkins5, We just finished a round of BIF's, but essentially there is a oz minimum of beer to send. The beer has to be rated over 85 on this website, and it should be stuff outside of the distribution of your target. You try to hit a few wants or new ticks from the target that you are designated but overall just send a box that you yourself would be happy to recieve, and a piece of swag (ie. Local brewery t-shirt or glass). @Elkevjoe has a #PIF (Pleepus it forward) thats about to start with a small oz minimum that might be good to get started with, you'll just need a veteran to step up and vouch for you. Hope to see you get involved at some point!
Welcome! The general rule for participation is that new participants have at least 5 trades with 100% feedback, OR a veteran can step up and "sponsor" a new newbie. The rules of each round can vary, but at the very least there is a minimum oz. and minimum beer rating that your box must meet. This past round we had a swag and blind bottle requirement, but those aren't always a part of the rules. We just finished up a round, but stick around and lurk a bit until the next one!
