    Good morning BA. Kinda cold and barely an inch of snow this morning.

    Instead of a 'warmer' beer I've bought Belhaven, a very good Scottish Ale. Never tried this before or just don't remember.

    One of the beers from yesterday's 2nd sweep of the beer store's offerings:

    I usually hand the beer to the GF to rip open with her teeth. But she caught sight of the instructions as she brought the bottle to her lips: "Use Opener"

    Fearful of the authorities busting down our door, we opted to follow the rules.

    Off to review Anchor Liberty IPA, though initial quick take is that it has that Anchor nose, and is actually a lightly citrusy balanced ale that slowly gains a nice mild to moderate bitterness in the end of the taste.

    Wow, Option #2 from Rock Bridge Brewing was so good that I drank it before taking a photo was even possible. The only reason Sump managed to make it to the photo shoot is because the 750mL of heavenly brew slowed me down. Thanks @THSdrummer !!!

    That stuff is 15€ (~$16) around here and I didn't buy it. I'm sure it's delicious but this is out of my beer budget.

    Glad you enjoyed it! That Option 2 is one of my favorites. I'll drive 45 minutes one way to the closest store with it just to bring home a 4 pack. For a milk stout, it's got a lot of presence. Glad you enjoyed Sump as well :slight_smile: I think it's about time I open up my bottle.
