Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day BA’s! I love you all!...Sorry, no chocolates! I think Frau Brau, Little Brau, and myself are a little in awe that this New Brau still hasn't shown himself yet. Measuring ahead of time, but stubborn and lazy just like his dad I guess . Was gonna say mom, but don't want to poke that bear! Anyhoo, I think it's time for the Glass of the Day Awards!

Another new one for me, Odell's 90 Shilling (aka @bowzer4birdie's recent substitute for water).

My favorite radio DJ, Lyn Bremer of 93.1 WXRT, did 26 songs about 26 women for Valentine's Day this morning. It immediately reminded me of this.

 

Having a Lindheim Yul Winter Warmer. Although with sunny and with clear skies, it is still freezing around here.

Seems like a good choice of beer for coming off the night shift!

 

It doesn't know if it wants to be a strong scotch ale or a citrusy amber ale, so it settles somewhere deliciously in the middle. With Odell finally getting into our area, I've had the IPA, the Myrcenary, and now this one within the last three days, and all three of them are good to excellent beers.

 

What a cutie!

 

Funny, that's what the guy at the auto parts store said when I called to order this stuff.

 

Going to grill some cow flesh and have a beer, or two.

This is my favorite Long Trail beer.

 

Might hit fifty degrees in this tropical paradise known as Chicagoland. Much nicer than the Valentine's Day 27 years ago where the city got buried by a foot or so of snow (edit: and we looked like @lordofthewiens post above!)

Songs about kissing, but not in a nice way.
