Casino!!!!! Just kidding brother, I had totally planned to return it but the company I work for no longer has a relationship with said casino. So now it's mine forever!:sunglasses:, because you know it takes a million years for plastic to decompose.

This was bottled a little over a month ago and the hop nose is still ridiculous. Pipeworks Galaxy Unicorn.

This is even better than I remember from the weekend it was bottled. Galaxy hops are really shining.

So glad this week is almost over, really need the weekend. Should be a good beer weekend too - hitting Revolution tomorrow for beers/dinner and then a Pipeworks charity event Saturday. Looking forward to it!

    Cheers all!

Still working this Trip in the Woods. My oldest Son called to tell me about his first varsity goal score in soccer. He was trying to push a through ball to his Striker & he didn't see it, neither did the Keeper. Goal from 45 yards out, he's thrilled as am I.

Really nice Kolsch-Style. Awesome head retention and dense lacing. Flavors of lemon, pear, apple, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish. Smooth/crisp finish with light grainy/sticky notes in the mouthfeel. Light-medium bodied. Moderate dryness, clean finish. Flavorful, well balanced, and very refreshing. Medium-high carbonation. Slightly fruitier than some others I've had; but it still hits the mark really well, and is not out of bounds on any style characteristics. Very well made. Will buy again, glad they canned this. Same beer as the tasting room from last year.

My go-to American made doppelbock. Delicious as it is every year. Rich flavors of caramel, toffee, brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, and light nutty malts; with some light-moderate raisin, plum, apple, fig fruits; and light herbal/spicy hops. Light herbal/spicy balancing bitterness; with medium-full bodied bready creaminess in the mouthfeel. Slight sticky/grainy dryness. Great balance of flavor complexity. Spot on to style as always. Need to grab a full 6 pack soon, I grabbed a single earlier this week. I usually buy a full pack every year.

Delicious DIPA! Glad they brought this back, tastes better than I remember. Flavors of huge pineapple, mango, melon, peach, papaya, tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel/rind, and pine hops; with balancing honey and lightly toasted bread malt sweetness; with herbal, floral, grassy hops earthiness. Moderate pine/rind/spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-full bodied with balanced creaminess and sticky/resin/rindy hops; lightly slick. Increasing bitter/rind dryness; minimal astringency. Super juicy and dank, and less intense on the malt sweetness than my review indicates from 2014. I will definitely buy more soon! at least as singles. Their newer IPA/DIPA batches have improved since the addition of the whirlpool in their process last year. Better clarity and crisp/drying mouthfeel.

Incredible American stout as always. Flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, toasted dark bread, and smoke/charred malt; with moderate herbal, pine, spicy hops; and some mild raisin, plum, licorice yeast fruitiness. Moderate pine and roast/charred bitter finish. Creamy, silky, and fairly sticky/chalky balanced medium-full body mouthfeel. Some light increasing dryness from hops and roast/char character. One of my top classic favorites in the style along with Kalamazoo stout. Need to get another full 6 pack again soon.

    Cheers

Great ipa from MT. Crisp and floral.

This is what a West Coast IPA should be!

Against my better judgement I'm having another, but I guess that's what alcohol does to a person sometimes:flushed:. Wait a minute, I think I made a great decision!:stuck_out_tongue:

South County Cosmic Nod, a local brewery's take on a hopped-up, hazy pale ale that is super tasty. Getting a lot of grapefruit and some peach and mango w/ a decent malt presence. Glad I got a 4 pack.

Indeed. Those fine intricacies on the upper rim and base are superbly and obviously hand crafted detailed perfection.

The Galaxy Unicorn was going to be my only brew tonight - no really - it was. But it was too delicious and went down way too easily. BA problems.

Bought another four of this at Binny's to last me through the "offseason". Tough to pass on when on sale for $7.99. Especially when I had been planning to buy another four pack regardless.

Still very coffee forward, despite being bottled almost five months ago. A long time favorite, it never disappoints.

And a little tune for my fellow LNBAs...

Sorry, I didn't say an objectively good tune. You know I like questionable music with a couple beers in me.
