    Believe me, they're out there unfortunately. The thing is, they make you a stronger person and a more dedicated parent because the last thing you want to do is end up like them.

    You won't believe this but it was stolen today, but I got it back, true story, seriously, I mean really, it did happen.:astonished: Well maybe not stolen, but ended up in someone else's possession that shouldn't have had it.

    Exactly. While I have zero experience with being a parent, the last thing I'd like if I ever become one is to yell at them, or worse, oh well I'm veering off a bit emotional now, someone send me a beer. Please. There goes the sober me... Grumpy and melancholic.

    My childhood was pretty cool, my teens years rather miserable but I cannot blame it on my parents.

    Well my friend, I was 37 when the last was born. Kinda old. All was well until I hit 42 and had some serious health problems (MS). So my wife had to take care of two kids and me. Looking back had I had the benefit of reading the future, maybe things would have turned out differently.

    Raising kids is hard. Do not let folks tell you differently. And you know, some kids turn out to be horrible human beings despite family efforts.
