In terms of F-ups these negatively impacted probably the fewest people ever. So I will feel free to laugh my ass off about them...

Delicious pale ale again this year. Flavors of big juicy blood oranges; with grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange zest/peel, and light pine hops; with balanced wheat, toasted biscuit, and light caramel malts; and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light pine/grassy bitterness. Nice bready/grainy wheat creaminess and light hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Super drinkable and flavorful for 5%. Seems to a love/hate beer in the ratings, but I've loved it every year. I've drank multiple 6 packs in the last 2 years since original release. Really well balanced between blood orange, hops, and bready malt flavors.

Great milk stout all around. Flavors of big milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted dark bread, nuttiness, and cream; with some light herbal/peppery hops. Slight smoke. Light herbal/spicy hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied with great creamy/silkiness in the mouthfeel. Very flavorful and drinkable; nearly refreshing. Nice body and mouthfeel for the low ABV. Really spot on for the style. Tastes like English malts. Delicious! Been loving all the new Tallgrass stuff since we got them in MI. Been buying all of them really often.

Always excellent IPA, one of my classic favorites. Finishing off the 6 pack. Flavors of bright grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, and spicy/floral hops; with light caramel/bready malt balance. Moderate pine/rind/grassy bitterness. Smooth, crisp, and sticky hop mouthfeel; with some grainy/creamy malt balance. Drying, lightly resinous finish. Great Cascade/Centennial/Willamette hop complexity all around. My most bought Lagunitas beer of all time. Still only 2 months old on this pack. Will be keeping it around more often, along with Sumpin.

2015 is tasting insane as usual. Huge flavors of caramel, raisin, cherry, fig, date, apricot, apple, toffee, brown sugar, brown bread, bourbon, and toasted oak; with light notes of molasses, vanilla, and coconut. Light balancing bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish against the sweetness. Minimal warming or barrel booziness. Very smooth sipping; with a very creamy, silky, and slightly slick/syrupy full body mouthfeel. Love this the most after at least 1 year of age to smooth out the boozy barrel notes. Grabbed 2 more packs of 2015 off the shelf in the last 2 weeks, because they were still there. This is better than SMS for me, but this just sits around all year while the stout flies off the shelf. No complaints about that. English Barleywines are my #1 style. Need to check out the new higher ABV SMS soon to see how it compares. Definitely will grab more to age while I still can. Already got a 4 pack.

When I look at this thread I am just blown away. There are so many beers I have never seen or heard of. It's a shame one cannot try them all. Brings me back to when I used to do homebrewing. I got out of that when the price of ingredients went way high and then the craft brew scene took off. Wow !

That looks like a good day. I bet it's almost as much fun as I had at work talking to people that give me a headache between my eyes. Happy birthday sir!

This beer smells incredible. Big blueberry with smoky dark roast coffee and dark chocolate roasted malts. Piquant blueberries with dark roast coffee and dark chocolate in the taste. Really nice blueberry stout. Cheers!

Really enjoy this beer and over the past year and a half this beer has been next to impossible to find in my area. My last one from the Boston haul. :slight_frown:

Happy Birthday! It looks like you're having a celebration for the ages, and 40 is a great age, I'd trade in a heartbeat. Get some of that FLA beer too, they say it's pretty good.

PS, pretty cool U got a pic with Jimmy Palmer:slight_smile:
