And to add to the suspense I'll say that the last name in the random organizer list was @MCMASTERSANCHEZ sorry my friend not this time. Reminder for anyone that may be interested:
I will be running the Locals NCAA Squares again this year. Same concept as the Super Bowl squares where you take the last digit of the score for each quarter except this is for the final score of each game (including the play-in games) of the Men's NCAA tourney. If your square(s) hit, you will get points based on the round that it hits (such as for the play-in games, you get .5 points and the points increase as we progress through the tourney. Last year we had 20 participants, so everyone had 5 squares and I would like to have 25 participants this year. We still have several available slots, so shoot me a BM if interested. The top 4 finishers (top 5 if we get 25) will receive beer and won't ship. Everyone else will send at least 64oz of good local beer.

 

Got to meet @oline73 at EBF and in a small world occurrence was in line right next to one of his buddies. For some reason he decided to drop this little box on me......



One beer not new to me would be DBL Duckpin which is fantastic wish I had some G&M to go with it though. The Manor Hills are DDH IPA and a passion fruit IPA both sound great.

Hey locals! Been laying low lately other than occasionally popping in elsewhere. Mostly been trying to not spend money since money got super tight because taxes didn't quite work out how I expected this year, so basically just been drinking down my cellar (and doing a damn good job at it). However, earlier this week, @blassor reached out to me asking if I was still interested in some regular coffee and variants, since I had said I never had it and it always intrigued me. Given the above, I politely declined. He then said he'd be in town, and asked if we could meet up to get my locals glass, or if he should give it to Devin. I said most likely give it to Devin, though I could maybe meet up today. We were able to meet up at a local brewery for a small flight (which the jerk paid for before I could even get my wallet out...), but of course, he couldn't send me home with just my glass...



He also dropped regular coffee + variants on me, and TH Pineal! Much appreciated Brandon, all are in the fridge, and depending on how fast they can get chilled (since they were a little cool from sitting in the car), may open the pineal tonight.

Good grabbing a beer with ya, hopefully we can do so again next time you're in town!

 

So my third box of OG Locals Fantasy Football winnings arrived today, courtesy of @UcDru . Some of these (as well as some stuff from at least 2, and possibly all 3, of my other boxes of winnings) will end up in the hands of other Locals, hopefully by the end of the month. But we had the good old "14 beers in a 12 shipper" thing going here -- I think I finally figured out how to do that.

But anyway, first the little guys...



Taft's Ale House Calebra Cut Coconut Brown Ale -- at first I thought this was a homebrew, since the guy on the label looks sort of like Drew. But that's not the case -- just lots of coconut
Arcadia Ales BA Shipwreck Porter-- this one's a Baltic Porter - and FWIW, the "BA" part ended up sort of being a theme in this box
Jackie O's Noble Sorrel (2016) x2 -- I never heard of this one, but it's Jackie O's, so I'm pretty sure it's amazing. I just checked my spreadsheet, and confirmed that Jackie O's is my highest ranked brewery.
Jackie O's BBA Dark Apparition (2016) -- love the brewery, love the beer, but I HAVE had this one before so may share or forward...
Fat Head's Hop Juju (2017) -- this one will get consumed tomorrow. And since I already used a "looks like Drew" joke I'll pass on this one...
Latitude 42 Lucifer's Cuvee (2016)- another unique sounding beer from a new-to-me brewery

Next, the big guys...



Against the Grain Bo & Luke (201?)- I've only tasted this, but actually have another bottle cellared, so there's a good chance somebody else gets this one
Cellar Dweller / Valley Vineyards GCCBSX2 -- I never heard of these guys, found this one on untappd but not BA, but either way it sounds amazing. "GCCBSX2" stands (as far as I can tell) for German Chocolate Cake Barrel Stout (double)
Karbach BA Hellfighter no.007- I've really enjoyed the Karbach stuff (including Hellfighter) that I've had in the past -- this one is aged in Maker's Mark Barrels, I think
Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad (2014)- I've never had this, although I have actually purchased it and sent it out (to a Quad-loving local). But Quads are amongst the styles that I appreciate now a LOT more than I used to.
Hardywood Christmas Morning (2015)-- Hardywood is good, Milk Stouts are good, if I do NOT forward this I will drink it on December 25th.
The Rare Barrel Afterlight - everything I've tried from the Rare Barrel (usually at EBF) has been amazing, I'm not sure if this is one I'm gonna drink or not
Olde Hickory The Event Horizon (2015) - not sure if I've had this vintage, but The Event Horizon is always good.
