Next up, Other Half Throw Some Mo'. Another Other Half that is just stupid hoppy, in a good way. Are they just using Lupulin powder in everything? Cause I've noticed a massive change in the hop quality of their beer since I first tried them almost a year ago. Everything I've had recently is just such a pure hop flavor, like tasting the pellets when I'm home brewing.

No idea how old this is, but it's certainly drinkable enough.

Took the day off so I could catch-up with Junior on his previous 60 days. He's busy trying to convince me he should take a second foreign language, but I'm having none of it. Even so, it's great to have him home on so many different levels, not the least of which is some meaningful conversation. The wife is thrilled, as well. Now she doesn't have to pretend to care or even listen to my diatribes on the state of US and world affairs. :astonished:

This hop bomb explodes in your kazoo and sends Columbus, Centennial, and Simcoe shrapnel screaming in every which direction so if you're not a hophead, walk on by Advocates. Me? I'm really enjoying it, though this wouldn't have resinated....see what I did there....earlier in my craft beer journey.

This doesn't explode, but it sure tickles my cochlear nerve....

    Afternoon BA's

Just went over to the local beer shop to grab what ended up being the last of his Cyclopse IPA's by Dunham... sadly they don't seem to be available anymore and it was one delicious IPA, But I digress. I ended up picking up a really nice Dieu Du Ciel Teku and Am now able to show off 2 of my regular IPA breweries in one shot Cheers!

Heard from some friends that this batch of Contains No Juice isn't as good.

Well, I'm not sure what it's supposed to taste like but on the nose and initial taste, it hits with juicy orange, pineapple and mangoes. Little bit of that bubblegum yeast. But mid-palate and finishing, it transitions to quite a bit of spicy bitterness which is pithy, but also dank. It's not bad, but I'm imagining previous batches were a little more juicy and less residually bitter?

Funny. I'm spending the day with Junior as well! I'm trying to convince him to pick up one language before he goes for a third. I can't understand a thing that comes out of his mouth. But usually his noises seem to rabble on about either needing food, or where his food ended up :astonished::grimacing:!
