    Shadowclock Pils from Burial Brewing in Asheville. 4 pk from Bestway as far as I know they're the only local vendor, gotta make a drive to get it.

    They do everything right, this Pils is no different, malt is the star up front, and they use Sterling and Tettanager hops, nice clean very crisp finish. Nice creamy head, it stays till the end, 5.5 Abv. Not as dry as say Trauger Pils, not as hoppy as Prima. It's 5 weeks old, and their Pils moves slower than their IPA, like most Pils I suppose.

    Ok, the recent article in this site's magazine spurred us on to visit Portner Brewhouse today.

    Looks like I'll be adding some beers are none are listed. I sorta screwed up the first one (Hofbrau Pilsner), as it is an adjunct pilsener. it was pretty tasty, though. Enjoyed the Tivoli Cream Ale as well, though the Vienna Cabinet Lager wasn't impressive. The Portner Porter made up for it, though as a lighter representation of the style.

    Yours is sweetly aglow and mine has sandy like crud that falls obtrusively to the bottom as you drink. I had to post my beer in this weeks NBS! I was gonna drink some anyway just to see. =)
