lol. How sad, most of my internet friends have horrible tastes in beer...Although you and Tim would be BFF's with your love for the BW.

Had the opportunity to sample all three beers at Terreux and thought they were okay to good. The malt bill was more prominent and complex than recent cans from Noble and Modern Times. Not a bad thing but makes for a different and less juice forward experience. Cans will probably be better but the draft preview was not compelling enough to make me want to spend the $4+ for a can of beer.

My opinion was mediocre to middling at best, though I'll admit I don't have a whole lot of experience with the "juicy" craze. If that means fairly malty and sacrificing a knockout flavor for balance, then so be it. I had no idea $4+ a can was going to be the point, but at that, the can version would need to be much better to open my wallet.

$4+ assuming they are on the low end of the current market price for special, brewery only release IPAs.

If they are closer to the $3 price point for Booming Rollers that would be great except you have to drive to Placentia or Anaheim when BR is available at local shops.

I'm glad they're doing this, IPAs are a significant part of the beer landscape and it just makes sense from a fiscal standpoint.

Also, if they canned the mango milkshake they had on tap like 6 months ago they'd have a hype train on their hands, or should I say, 'Tired Hands'. Ha? Ha.

I wish these first releases weren't the hazy variety. I like this idea but I want some west coast style IPAs.

Agreed. I felt like some of their recent tasting room experimentation did a nice job with West Coast pale ales and IPAs. Would be far more likely to go out of my way to pick those up.

Huh, you are right. I confused it for the WC DIPA (Perjury) currently on draft.

I wish they'd can Humulas Lager instead of a Yeasty IPA.

I'd also take the pilsner they did for their Oktoberfest

This. If they canned Humulus Lager, I'd be all over that

They'd probably have to rename it slightly wouldn't they? Since it's a Bruery beer and not a label under Offshoot? I could be way off.

They could call it Cumulus Lager and make it cloudy/hazy. Seems fitting.

It's funny how the Bruery announced their first IPA release April 1, 2017 and Monks announced their first IPA release last April 1, 2016. I don't think Patrick is in the same situation as Henry a year ago?
