Founders Imperial Stout paired with Lanceros El Triunfador.

 

Happy Sunday BA! Decided to open this after a long work week. One day off tomorrow then back to another 6 day grind. I'm not positive on which batch this is because I've probably held onto it for too long, but wow, it's awesome! The mouthfeel is soft, the aroma shines of lemon. The taste is bone dry from the French oak, and the lemon dazzles the taste buds. This is my first time with this beer and damn, I need more! Cheers.

 

Last of this one. Still tastes very juicy.

Moderate pour yields a 1 and a 1/2 inch white head over a slightly hazy light golden body with some sticky lacing. Nose of pine, citrus, and tropical fruit. Taste follows aromas with medium to high bitterness with a nice dry finish. Nice feel and overall a more than decent Enjoy By.

Yummy. Another great beer from @FFFjunkie. This one is just begging for barrel aging.

Capped this beast on Thursday and forgot about it. Problem? Nope.

 

Marz BA Corrupt a polish imperial stout. I love the polish sausages on the label. Also on the back of the label it said climb a pole. A ton of polish heritage in the Chicago area

 

Marble's Double IPA.

I think I have been too harsh on this one in the past. Always said it was solid but not worth seeking out in ABQ when La Cumbre and certain Bosque IPA's might be available. Had this a couple times in the past couple weeks and I don't think those past comments were fair. Love resinous and citric IPA's and this one is definitely that. Great stuff that is most definitely worth seeking out when in Albuquerque.
