Would have opened today but got forced to do overtime ( the downside of unions). Relaxing now with a nice Laura from Vox Populi. This is their belgian IPA and a great example it is. Cheers!

 

Totally agree, Recently was asked what 2 albums I'd take with me if I was trapped on a dessert island and Dirt was on the list... all the best of grunge are almost gone.

Making these now. Incredible smell in house.

Gonna go gather some of these invasive plants and make pesto later. Too many around here, and they put out anti fungal chemicals into soil, so they are the enemy of mushroom hunters.

 

Thank you . =) I am proud of it .It was an original dish and it was really good. I discovered something making that dish that I like very much. Roasted cantaloupe seeds. Those are going into some turkey salad later . cheers! .

Hazy canary yellow color with quickly disappearing white cap.

Aroma of light banana bread spiced with clove. I can't say I actually smell hops but there is something floral in the background.

Taste is a lightly, brightly sparkling combination of the aroma scents with a greater emphasis on banana and clove. Nothing heavy handed, but immediately present none the less. Hops don't rise above a murmur but there is that slight sense of floralness in the aftertaste. I also pick up intermittently and in the aftertaste a touch of mild nuttiness. Quite clean and as the brewer says, crisp. Not at all tart as some wheat brews can be yet there is a touch of that which tart sensitive palates might find a little more apparent.

A smooth, almost creamy texture that sits well on the palate.

A Summer brew for sure it almost beckons to be taken outdoors.

 

Tuning in with a Struis from 'T IJ. A wonderful after work beer. Sigh, ...
Also happy with the coasters I've got from a local bottle shop recently. Should make it a habit to use these things at home.

I can not upload pics from my phone, heck I haven't been able to figure out how to copy from the Imgur app to Firefox on my tablet. I am sitting at old Chicago enjoying a beer called Avalanche Amber. It is ok, but nothing impressive. I might be back for another beer after work.

I stopped at Three Floyd's last night to purchase some DLD leftovers. This bottle is dated 5-10-17 which means you tourists are slipping in your consumption of this bargain of a beer! It's usually stamped the same day or week. Jokes aside it's still damn good and won't stand a chance on another warm windy day!
