Is Naughty Temple worth seeking out?

Hmm.. I would say probably not. If you pretended it was a BA barleywine, maybe.

So who's gonna be there for the release this morning? I'll be in a Forager T-shirt/green bay hoodie/camo rain coat, depending on the weather. Feel free to say hi.

Based on the ratings I've seen for Naughty Temple thus far, I think it's safe to say I screwed up by not going this weekend.

When MD b3 came out, it was mind-blowing awesome according to reviews/ratings. Let the dust settle. Not saying it's not great, but maybe don't look so much into the new ratings.

And account for up-hype for all the people trying to sell/trade their other bottle.

Right now I think a lot of people still think naughty temple is a barrel aged IPA and aren't interested. As more people drink/find out it's not it I think you'll see more ISO's; it's pretty great

I haven't had this batch, but this is generally how I feel about Naughty Temple - in as much as I get into to BA beers. It's historically really gotten great whiskey flavor and there's never ever been anything remotely hoppy about Naughty 90's profile. It's always been an oaky, malt forward beer that didn't taste anything at all like an IPA. I never understood that label.

Which is why they changed the description to an oak aged ale.

Is Toppling Goliath dog friendly in any form? Their website says it is not but they posted a picture on Instagram a few days ago that showed people drinking beer outside with a dog (didn't look to be a service dog). My wife and I are camping at Pulpit Rock campground in route from Seattle to Vermont at the end of June and would love to be able to actually drink a beer at the taproom as opposed to just filling growlers and buying to go stuff.

Also, do any locals know if the campground is busy? Most of their sites are listed as first come first serve. We are just basic tent campers so I imagine we will be fine finding something on a Thursday night.

Excited to try some Toppling Goliath and Pulpit Rock Brewing beers for the first time.

We've brought our dogs to the outdoor patio space with no problem.

I'm not sure how crowded Pulpit Rock gets on a regular day, but when we were there over the 4th of July weekend it was packed and needed a reservation.

Pretty crazy how a brewery who can barely supply its home state with beer is expanding so quickly.

I've seen a few people mention Des Moines as the likely "west" site, but... that just seems weird to announce like that.

I assumed west coast when I read it. Can't imagine I was the only one.
