    Good morning and happy Friday BA's! Hope you all have a great and safe Memorial Day weekend, and good luck if you're traveling :astonished:. Me...work as usual. People seem to use water no matter what day it is, and I'm happy to serve :sunglasses:. It's time my friends, for the Glass of the Day Awards!

    GotD:     A familiar "face" returns to the top of the mountain with an awesome vintage find, @BeerVikingSailor for this Pilsner Urquell seidel! Cheers and congrats my friend!
    2nd: Welcome to the winners circle for the first time, @J-Bonus for this simple yet wonderful flute, that just looks pretty filled with some o.j.
    3rd: And of course, you all know I can't ignore another of @SawDog505 's Star Wars weisse glasses. Yoda's in the house, and looking damn good with a solid Noble offering as its contents :wink:.

    Honorable mention goes out to @BeerVikingSailor yet again for this proper Sixpoint can glass.

    Woke up to rain so it is looking like I get a extended weekend off. I was sent this beauty from my brother in law who lives in Beijing. Mikkelier Copenhagen and Great Leap Brewing Beijing colab IPA called Excuse me while I kiss this guy. Why yes it is the most misquoted lyrics of all time and yes those two fellas making out are who you think they are :wink: :wink: As someone who collects beer bottles I am happy to have this one!

    Union Jack ipa... Super clear... really good hop flavor... A touch of sweetness... Fruity... Very citrusy... Hint of pine... orange on the finish with a little dryness and lingering orange citrus.

    Howdy all! Checking in early with one of my usual upper-downer beers to get some work done, but I'm so, so close to being done with this @#(%& book on water issues in the west. Going out to a taproom tonight to try some good West Coast IPAs and I'm doubtful I'll check in during live social time with a pack of friends, so... yeah, at least there's this! Cheers!

    Thanks for the various congrats and well wishes, morning virtual bar gang! The advocates on this thread are the best! And @dee4maine, my brother actually works for a public radio station in Florida.

    Having a chilled Orval.

    Just returned from a short work related trip to Germany. There was no place for beer drinking in the schedule. But I had the opportunity to buy some beer and forward it home. Some of them are cooling down now in the fridge.

    Lagunitas Born Again Yesterday. Beautifully hazy. Been relatively hard to find this one on tap without having to commit to a 12-pack. I might even like this one more than the original. Good times!

    I'm not a coffee drinker so to me this pretty much tastes like coffee.
    I'm trying hard to find the Brown Ale in here but other than a hint of malty sweetness I haven't had any luck.

    But hey, what's better than getting paid to stay home, taste beer and hang out on BA?
