Having a Beer Geek Thailand Imperial Oatmeal Stout from a Mikkeller collaboration from SD and DK.

Some live Ty (Thai) Segall seemed appropriate.

They sell both Singha and Leo (an adjunct lager economy brand from the same brewery) at the monopoly here and drinking them both side by side I thought the all-malt Singha tasted alot more "European" compared with the Leo. A side by side comparison really helps to bring out the difference between beers, which is something I'm hoping will come through in this saturday's AAL tasting.

Good luck to ya, even if you are from Illinoise :grinning:

Wish I could be off meds, or better stated felt well enough to not need them.

Thursday, peeps - breaking out a home-brew tonight that I'll be pouring at a local festival on Saturday. It's a Wheat Pale, hopped with Wai-iti and Amarillo whirlpool and DDH with Amarillo and Citra. Drinking pretty good at the moment, if I were to say anything critical is that the Wai-iti is a big letdown. The smell out of the airlock was like I squeezed fresh lime/lemon juice into the carboy, now however, there is naught but a faint trace in the nose and taste. Ah well, at least I know I won't be using it again. That said, the mouth-feel is soft af, so I'll take it.

    Salud!
