Well suck me sideways I just got a 4 pack.

 

That might have been the extra 4-pack I ordered separately from my first two 4-packs (assuming you just got it through eventbrite). Got an email saying the extra one was cancelled.

 

But why? You didn't exceed the limit so why would it get canceled?

 

Apparently all your tickets have to be a single order, per the email I was sent.

 

Well, at least it beats waiting hours in a line.

 

That sucks. I must've not seen it in that essay of rules & regulations. Oh well at least you got something!

Odd rule?

 

Seems a tad odd since technically he didn't attempt to circumvent limits and really a quick excel sort of the data from eventbrite would have shown that he indeed only ordered 3 just on 2 separate transactions

 

3 packs failed... few minutes later 2 failed... few minutes later I got 1 four pack to go through.

Stoked to even get 1 four pack, and if I'd missed out... still wouldn't be that mad since it only took a few minutes of attention during my day.

These Citra Showers cans are mighty tasty right now...

 

what threw me off was that the 'sold out' update went up as soon as all the beer was in carts, usually those don't go up until all the ticket orders are processed. Mostly just find it funny b/c Noble 'grammed that meme about learning how to eventbrite and turns out it wasn't as smooth or clear as possible. They will figure it out for the next one...hopefully they lower future allocations to two 4packs to maximize the number of people getting beer, assuming initial inventory stays similar.

 

This is a little something I retrieved from the Monkish Instagram comments. Just more complaining about the movement to online releases. These people have nothing to do in their lives but wait in a line for beer. The children and newborns in the Monkish line yesterday was a sight to see. A man walked by me and a wave of weed smoke filled the air. Some dude cracked open a TreeHouse can in line. I get it - you enjoy having bottle shares and get-togethers, etc. But who's stopping you from doing that any other day? If people have time to wait in line for beer.. they have enough time in their day to come to a local bottle share.

Keep doing what you guys are doing @Vito_at_Noble! Taking the brunt of all this BS I'm sure hurts, but in the end you guys are doing what's right.

 

Ordered a 6er of Side Project Merci and picked up a 4 pack of Mikkeller Windy Hill on the way home yesterday. No waiting or F5ing, I must be doing it wrong.

 

Is Citra Shower 4 pks still available at the brewery?

 

I went there yesterday to pick up some packs at 4:30 and there was no line at all, walked right up to the counter. They had a couple pallets of Citra Showers already ready to go and I could see them still canning more even. My guess is it will last through the weekend, probably even longer. I remember when Mosaic Showers came out near the end of April, and they had that available still until the beginning of June. Not as much hype as Citra Showers... but still. Shouldn't be a problem at all getting as many packs as you want. Will probably be easy to find in local distro as well at places that have gotten Noble releases in the past.
